John Witte
Regional Vice President, Canada
As the regional vice president for Savvis in Canada, John Witte is responsible for leading the sales and marketing teams in driving new revenues through direct sales, strategic alliances and channel partners in addition to managing the growing client base. With more than 22 years of progressive sales and senior management roles, John has a proven track record in building high performance sales teams and helping companies accelerate growth. Since joining Fusepoint (acquired by Savvis) in 2002, John has played an integral role in launching and developing the sales teams and processes while achieving impressive revenue growth. Prior to joining the company, John held the position of vice president, sales, at PSINet, where he was responsible for leading national sales, managed hosting and solutions teams. In this role, he achieved the successful launch and record growth of the managed hosting portfolio for PSINet in Canada, which was subsequently sold to Telus in 2001. Prior to PSINet, he held various sales roles over a 14 year career at Yellow Pages Group, a former Bell Canada Company. John earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Toronto and has completed studies in international business at Ryerson University.
Tina Oxford
Vice President, Human Resources, Canada
As vice president of human resources, Tina Oxford is responsible for managing all aspects of human resources nationally to support continued expansion of Savvis in Canada, while sustaining a high-performance culture that focuses on results and recognition. Since joining Fusepoint (acquired by Savvis) in 2002, Tina has used her recruitment expertise and organizational design strategies to successfully build a strong employee base for Savvis offices and data centers across the country. She has also implemented the foundation of process, culture and compensation models needed to attract and retain some of Canada's top talent. Prior to joining the company, Tina’s career focused on companies with significant organic and merger-and-acquisition growth strategies involving key organizational design initiatives. Former employers included ATI Technologies, PSINet Canada, WSIB and Star Data Systems. During the last 12 years, she has managed a full range of the HR function, from building the departmental programs to creating and leading the HR strategy. Tina earned a bachelor’s degree at the University of Western Ontario and post-diploma in human resources management at Seneca College.
Brian Mikulin
Director of Solutions Architecture, Canada
As director of solutions architecture, Brian Mikulin is responsible for overseeing technical pre-sales support and solutions development for Savvis in Canada. Brian’s focus is to work with prospects, clients and partners using industry best practices to qualify, design and recommend integrated solutions using a wide range of technologies including VMware, Linux, MS Windows, SQL and Oracle databases, storage systems, web products and applications, cloud services and data center facilities. Brian has more than 30 years of experience in information technology, particularly in the IT outsourcing and consulting services, telecommunications and financial services sectors. Prior to joining Fusepoint (acquired by Savvis in 2010), Brian was director, consulting, for CGI Integrated Technology Management. In addition, Brian spent 12 years at HP and Compaq Canada Inc. as practice principal, systems integration services and also held various management positions at the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce and the Royal Bank of Canada. Brian earned a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Toronto and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Montreal. He is a member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario.
Bik Dutta
Director of Product Management, Canada
As the Director of Product Management for Savvis Canada, Bik is responsible for bringing new products to the Canadian market, pricing, and product positioning and strategic business development activities. Since joining Savvis Canada (formerly Fusepoint) in 2006, Bik lead the development of a number of products and established alliances with key technology vendors to transition the company to offer virtualized managed hosting solutions. Bik works in collaboration with sales and engineering teams to ensure a product mix that resonates with customer needs. Prior to joining Savvis Canada, Bik guided Allstream on go-to-market plans for various products lines and led marketing efforts to integrate an acquisition into the portfolio. Prior to Allstream, Bik spent over 4 years in Product Management and Marketing with MCI/UUNet launching products including Internet connectivity, hosting, and managed services. Bik began his career as a Market Analyst at Evans Research covering segments such as storage and printers. Bik holds a MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University specializing in Marketing and Strategy and a BBA from Wilfrid Laurier University.
